This year's race is set to have widespread online coverage through a number of different sources. In fact, sitting in front of a computer is likely to provide a more accurate and absorbing experience than being on the course in person!

Update from irunfar.com: Runners are getting on buses now to go to Courmayeur. Runner have the option of running the CCC (Courmayeur Champex Chamonix) 98 kilometer (61 mile) race as a replacement for yesterday’s canceled Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc.

Well done you! watched the race from the edge of the lake in Champex and got soaked just watching. Saw runners still coming through at 6.45 Swiss time the next day. Great result for you, for Lizzie and for GB. Well done.

The pack is not out yet - but it will be in the Spring 11 range, called the Enduro 18. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Well worth waiting for - it's an absolute cracker....
