Following UTMB

This year's race is set to have widespread online coverage through a number of different sources. In fact, sitting in front of a computer is likely to provide a more accurate and absorbing experience than being on the course in person!

Here are a couple of links:

The main race website (live mini site will go live shortly before the race, my race number is 2044): http://www.ultratrailmb.com/page/88/Supporters.html
The North Face website: http://eu.thenorthface.com/blog/

The race starts on Friday night @ 1730GMT

Update from irunfar.com: Runners are getting on buses now to go to Courmayeur. Runner have the option of running the CCC (Courmayeur Champex Chamonix) 98 kilometer (61 mile) race as a replacement for yesterday’s canceled Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc.
Jez is running and close to the leader after 40ish miles according to http://twitter.com/irunfar
There is a pic there also.

Well done. You must have put all that swimming you’ve done to good use at the start, considering all the rain. Laura says congratulations.

That was a fantastic performance Jez. Well done.
I was about to ask the same question as Akos. I prefer packs with bottles and yours looks nice.

Well done you! watched the race from the edge of the lake in Champex and got soaked just watching. Saw runners still coming through at 6.45 Swiss time the next day. Great result for you, for Lizzie and for GB. Well done.

Akos/ Nikos,
Thanks for the posts guys.
The pack is not out yet - but it will be in the Spring 11 range, called the Enduro 18. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Well worth waiting for - it's an absolute cracker....
